Tofu and Candida Diet – Can We Eat It During the Program?

It must be hard adjusting to your diet when you suffer from candida. The anti-candida diet, as we know, is not the easy kind of diet. You have to be really careful about what’s inside everything and everything you eat and drink, not to mention be a little more creative because dieting can get really boring. People with candida must adapt their diet according to their unique body conditions.

It is possible that one patient will now suffer death. She started taking caprylic acid a few days ago and noticed her symptoms getting worse than ever. While she hopes to feel better after dying, she would like to know if she could have tofu as part of her anti-candida diet. Obviously, she was having a hard time adjusting to the diet.

Another patient heard that tofu was OK to consume and sometimes heard that it was bad. According to her own experience, she has it twice a week. She tries to limit soy products and not eat them every day, because she doesn’t want to end up developing a soy allergy. Since she is a vegetarian, her food options are very limited and she does not want to stop eating tofu.

According to another woman with candida who eats tofu, she eats it in limited amounts and it gives her no reaction at all. In fact, you find it to be a valuable source of protein although you still need to check what exactly is in the tofu. Like most “gray area” foods, it’s a matter of using common sense and extreme moderation.
